Looking for a ride to SD in '09!

If any Virginia rider from Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Newport News, Richmond, Fredericksburg, or even northeast NC are traveling solo to SD for the 2009 rally and wouldn't mind letting me be a passenger on the trip, then please let me know. :-* I will gladly help out with the gas! I have a family of 3 going but a bike for 2. :'(

I'm not from that way, but it's a good idea to try to get all of you there. Hope it works out for you.

So do I. By putting the request out now, hopefully someone will be able to help me out. I can't think of an easier solution, especially after getting feedback on a sidecar. I hear that it doesn't exactly fit the way it should and can make the bike hard to handle.

I had a sidecar on my Goldwing it fit like it should and unless you spend about $1100.00 for what they call easy steer (a 4degree raked triple tree) then it will steer like a bear.

Let's see, first the MSF course as soon as possible, then a used Vulcan 800 or 900 for the best part of the year and... who knows???

I'm in! I have a ride to SD! A solo rider will be picking me up on his way to see his folks west of where I am, then we're heading to Custer! Thanks for all of the suggestions!! Needless to say, my son is happy, too, because he gets to go on the back of his dad's Nomad! ;)
