? about the 4411A sealed beam spot lights

My question about the amber 4 1/2" sealed beam spot light lamps is, WERE CAN YOU GET THEM? I went by NAPA, and other auto parts stores today, and they all said that "they are not available". I know that some members have them (that's where I come up with the number). They all had/or could get the 4411 clear, but couldn't come up with the amber. Any input would be appreciated.

Hey Cliff,
I used the 4415A 35W amber sealed beams. Is that what you are looking for....or are you after the 55W? I got mine at Napa....and I have to say I really like them...very bright for 35W... .

I installed 55w halogen bulbs in the F&S light housings, they made a big difference in the light output. I do a lot of night riding coming home from work so it was a great improvement for me.

July 25th I bought (2) 4415A 35W , same as Netnorske's.... at a NAPA...

Not on the bike yet, but will be sooner than later.

I have (2) smaller 55 watts each lamps on my lowers which will stay there.

I put H3 55W Amber bulbs in mine and they work fine. The alternator continues to put out plenty of juice for the extra load.

Bought my bulbs at:

http://www.amazon.com/Nokya-Arctic-Yello....08817 04&sr=8-1

But if you do a Google search you will find other places.

I Installed The CWI driving lites--35W sealed white lites--which I located from 'Greg Distributors' locally. $5.95 per sealed unit (85.00 at local Harley dealer) I added a second Driving lite----" Brushed Caliper Mount driving lights----complete set for 2006 Kawasaki Nomad 1600. Made by Motolight ( www.motolight.com ) paid 479.50 U.S.--shipped within 2 weeks. mine are brushed aluminum, matching the lower forks. These came with clear instructions. This was an extremely easy do-it- yourself install. Everything went smooth. The looks are awesome, with lots of compliments. Lights are very visible."
Here's a pic of both----Both on their own separate relay protected circuit-----run off a Centech fuse panel which I installed behind the left side cover. (http://easternbeaver.com/Main/Produc...PC-8/pc-8.html )

Hey Derry,
Mine are the lights from CWI that mount to your windshield bracket. They come with 35W white H3 bulbs. I just replaced the bulb housing with the 4415A sealed beams and added a ground wire.

I really like it....they look great and you don't have to do the whole "lightbar" thing. They just bolt right on and it's up to you how you want to wire them. I put a "smart switch" in the headlight bucket that ties into the high-beam switch...(see below)...

http://store.valueaccessories.net/sm...arylights.aspx

I just toggle my high-beam switch to turn the lights on or off when the bike is running. The main power is tied to the key switch...so they go out when I turn off the key. The set-up seems to work great!

? about the 4411A sealed beam spot lights

Thanks everybody for the ideas and input. I currently run the 35w H3 bulbs. I'm not happy with the life of the bulbs (H3's are rated at 200 hours of use), and I do like the look of the amber lights, Soooooooooo I done a little research,

The 4411 bulbs are rated at 300 hours, and 2000 candle power
The 4415 bulbs are rated at 500 hours, and 7000 candle power
The H3 35w bulbs are rated at 200 hours, and 820 lumens (1 candle power = 12.57 lumens, thus 820 lumens = 65.235 candle power)

So I do think that I'm going to go with the 4415A bulbs.
And again, thanks everybody.
