I use the Alaska Leather sheepskin butt pad for longer rides. It seems to help both in hot and cold weather. I don't bother with it for around town and shorter rides.

Dan, how did you dye the sheepskin. I tried to dye one and it shrunk up to half the size. Did you find a dye you didn't have to boil to set it?

We bought a full skin and cut it down to size love it in hot weather. BTW welcome from Route 66 in New Mexico

TC, I heated mine up on the stove, than ran it through the washer. After trimming the part her dog chewed, it's just a little too small for my seat. I think otherwise it would be a good fit.

welcome DBC: I want to welcome you and I would rec'd the Propad gel pad with sheepskin cover. been running this for about 1 yr. Its warm in the winter and cool in the 100+ days in TX. I love mine and its the best $150 I have spent. :-)
