I do not like the passenger stock floorboards that I bought for my Vaquero, they keep falling open when no one is riding behind me.

Think I will change over to these blacked out ones from Kuryakyn;

i looked at kury's website and chatted with the online help desk. i was told that kury does not offer any BLACK spline mounts for them. plus i would think the straight mounts are what would be needed because of the floorboards folding and not the mounts.

I have the OEM passenger floorboards as well. I wonder if yours have a defect? Mine actuallly click into place when i push them in the up position. You might want to consider taking them back.

I purchased mine aftermarket and put them together my self and it is probably missing the BB that make it lock in place

Question Power Commander V

Some online retailers claim they will set up the map for you...how is that possible without dyno runs?

you can go to dyno jets website now and download the software now and if you know what air/fuel ratios you want and make a map now. you dont have to make a dyno pull just to get a map.

air kits

I wonder if there is a huge performance difference between the round or oval kits and the tornado kit from Thunder. I really like the look of the round kit...because it has a low profile, and after taking the air covers off of both sides, I am convinced that almost anything is less restrictive than what kawi provided.

I was cleaning up my 2011 vaquero tonight and started cleaning underneath the bike for the first time.

I noticed a clean hole (about 3/32 or so ) drilled under each tail pipe about 10 inches or so from the end.

What is this for? I assume to allow any condensation or rain water to drain should it find its way in the pipe????

I know you have a lot going on with your buddy but just if you happen to have the chance to take the pics and post. It's tough to take them underneath the pipe mounted on the bike.

thanks
