A VN900 full dresser

I know this is a much smaller Vulcan than we normally see on this forum, but I am quite pleased in my results of heavily modifying a late 70's Pacifico Shadow fairing and Kutter saddlebags, along with a $85 ebay tail trunk, to turn my buddy's VN900 Classic into a full dresser. I think it works well to compliment the lines and paint of the original bike.

I learned TONS about modifying ABS, forming, welding, bonding, even to the point of finding ABS flat stock and pipe/tube that I could cut/form to fit the project. Acetone and ABS plumbing cement are very effective to modify/repair motorcycle plastics. The fairing that I bought on CL for $80 (fairing and Kutter bags) needed a lot of crack repairs, and areas filled in that were hacked to fit speakers. What I learned from this project has led me to a similar Pacifico Shadow project on my own VN1600 Classic, to turn it into a full dresser.
