I am just curious, what is the large black box-looking thing with the iPod kit?

That black box is molded to fit inside the left side glovebox where the iPod factory wires are located (at least on the Voyager, I assume it's the same on a Vaquero) . It holds your iPod as well as the control unit box you see attached to the two connectors. Keeps the iPod from bouncing around in the glovebox,

Oh Mike, what did you go and do now? Traded the Voyager for what? That was a good deal on that seat. I love mine that I got from the group buy last winter.
Question on the sage brush tank chap. Does it take the place of that plastic one? Or does it somehow lay on top of it?

To answer your question about the Sage Brush Tank Bib... The Bib itself goes under the chrome tank fixture. Then the pouch lies across the lower section of the chrome piece and fastens to the leather bib with two snaps and heavy duty Velcro. Works really nice and covers up some of that ugly (IMHO) and easily scratched plastic chrome. The picture below is the best one I have to show how the bib works and looks on the bike.

Got a couple questions for you Chuck...
How do you like the RDL on your bike? What seat did you send them to build your RDL? I have a Hammock on the bike now and it's a nice seat. Can't decide whether I want to get another RDL for this bike. The jury is still out on the Hammock. I haven't taken a long trip on it yet to properly test it out. I bought it from a friend for $250 when he went to a Mustang seat. I couldn't turn down that deal as the seat sells from HD for $540. I called RDL to see if they could build a seat on the Hammock pan and they said they could. I don't want to sent my stock HD seat because it's the anniversary black and brown color. I want to keep that seat with the bike. I was curious how the RDL does on a HD pan because they are so much more flexible than other pans I've had RDL build on.

I bought me another Sagebrush Designs tank bib for my Harley. I didn't add the bib pouch this time because I have the HD windshield pouches to hold my odds and ends:
SD does a great job on their tank bibs!

By the way...
The sagebrush design Voyager/Vaquero tank bib and the stock de-baffled Voyager pipes are still available.
