Hypercharger for sale

I have finally removed my Hypercharger and I'm posting it here for sale first. A few things:

1. To the best I can determine it is the standard version with a stinger trapdoor. (I bought the bike used with the HC already installed)
2. It has the Thunder adapter to fit the 1600 classic/nomad.
3. I've cleaned and re-oiled the K&N filter using the K&N recharge kit.
4. Two gaskets will need to be replaced or RTV sealant can be used to create a gasket. These are the gaskets located between the air intake/adapter and the gasket between the adapter/hypercharger. (the gaskets were torn during removal)

I'm asking $160.00, shipping to the lower 48 included.

(Edited 053109 to correct the model of hypercharger)

A hypercharger on a Nomad. Hmmmm. Just does not seem to go together for some reason. Good luck selling it. Sounds like a fair price.

May I ask why you removed the HC? I am assuming it stuck out more than you liked..

I think they look good on any bike including the Nomad, but that the anyone buying must understand there are no impellors.

I'ld like one just the same for the look, but am a tad low on dough these days.

Good point, mac. I've had a couple of newbies to bikes indicate that they thought Hyperchargers were the same as superchargers. Reckon it's because of the name.

That is the fault of the industry and not the seller.. There is no chager to it.... A charger must have impellors to be a charger of any type.. A charger creates more air measured in BAR, and the hyper charger simply doesn't do that..

None the less I would like one myself, for the looks.

Unfortunatly for me, tires and other items I need over want must come first.

I bet someone comes along and buys this.

Yes, I removed it because my stubby (30") inseam didn't fit around it too well. Ah well, I figured that I'd offer it to my Nomad brethern first before I shopped it out elsewhere. I'll give it the weekend then broaden my market. Thanks for the looks guys.

Unfortunatley money is a object, to what i would like to do... If it wasn't, that hyper charger would be mine, with lots of other goodies to boot...
