Picture question

Alright, I can already hear the giggles.
How do I put a picture on the message area? I tried to do the 'copy - paste' and it didn't work.
How about some guidance for a non techie.
TIA

Open an account in Photobucket.com. Upload pics to it. When the pics are uploaded I think there are 4 lines of text under them. Copy the bottom line and paste it in your message here. Hope this helps.

No giggles rfl, we've all asked this question. First, beezer's right about setting up an account on a website to store your images. You can't post pics on this forum from the pics on your hard drive, they have to be from a website. Or, you can do like I do and copy the url and paste, either will work, even though the photobucket is more reliable.

The easiest way: When you reply you see the 2 rows of buttons. On the bottom row, 4th from the left is a little picture. Click on that and you will see [img and on the other end [/img. There are ] at the end of both words. Paste the url in between the brackets and there's your pic.

You know TRIP that is really a rinky dink way for this website to operate. Isn't there some way you can fix it so we can upload from our own pics stored on our own computer?
As far as I am concerned this is the only real problem with this site.
I can upload from my computer on Archerytalk.com very easily.

Yeah....I'll admit, this message board might be a little rinky dink.....but it does have some redeeming qualities and features.....one being that it's FREE!

Sorry topcat, but "Free" also means that the resources to upload pictures directly onto the Proboards server are not available.

I actually use Google Picasso. Anyone who has a Gmail account can upload their pics to Picasso, and it will provide a link either to a gallery, or to a single pic. Works so far. :)

First of all thanks for your brilliant remark. NICO. Sometimes I think your real sharp too! :-*
Second of all Archerytalk.com is FREE.
Third, I wasn't saying this is a rinky dink website, I like everything about the site except I am not computer literate like the super smart NICO so I can't post pictures.
GEEEEEZZZ, I'm sorry if my stating an opinion pissed off some people.
I think you do a great job on this site Trip, keep up the good work and thanks for the clarification.
