hypercharger butterfly/diaphram ?

I recently installed a hypercharger on my 2000 Nomad Fi 1500cc.
For some reason im not getting any play in the butterflies... They have alot of drag to them. It seems like the diaphram is too tight. I contacted Kuryaken they sent me a upgrade kit for free... Kit 9913. I installed the kit with no diff. anybody here have any ideas. or even better pictures of theirs being installed or on a video...?

Check the little screw behind the vacuum baffle on the hyperhcarger. It may need to be let out so you get more movement of the butterflies. Also, pull off the tube when the engine is running and see if you can feel the vacuum. More when the engine is running fast.

I have moved the screw all the way in and out.. NO change. When I pull off the tube, I get air/vaccuum. Whether bike is running or Off, the tension on the butterflies are tight.. They do not flutter, move easily

I HAD PROBLEMS WITH MINE TO 2006 1600. THE DIAPHRAM KEPT MELTING AND WOULD CAUSE A VACCUME LEAK. I REPLACED IT THREE TIMES. FINNALY GOT TIRED OF IT AND DISSCONNECTED THE VACCUME AND JUST EPOXYED THE BUTTERFLY 3/4 OPEN LOOKS GREAT. ALSO AFTER AWHILE THEY START TO RATTLE ANYWAYS. HOPE THIS HELPS. ANOTHER THING YOU MIGHT TRY IS THE HOLDERS TOP AND BOTTOM FOR THE BUTTERFLYS MAKE SURE THEY ARE TURNED THE RIGHT WAY.

Yeah, I'd forget those butterflies and just fix them open or remove them completely. The do nothing for performance, and just cause vacuum leaks when you need them least.

Like on a hot day in the desert.
