I went with 1/2 watt because that is all they had both of the ohms you mentioned in. Got the antenna cable extension too. About ready to give this a go. Thanks for the great instructional.

I actually had to wire some together to get the specific impedance for the two PAC designated. I just bought an assorted kit for like $3.

Can someone help me out. I have a jvs head unit on the way but wasn't sure about wiring it up. What harness do I need

they don't make a harness, the large plug on the back of the radio has the wiring you will need. you can either use a posi tap, cut the wire and install a male/female end so it can be returned to "stock" if desired, or trim some of the coating off the correct wires and solder them.

This is an older thread but just in case anyone is referencing it for info, I did develop a harness plug to install an aftermarket stereo on the Vaquero/Voyager.
The wires need to be connected and it requires two resistors to be placed inline but it requires ZERO cutting of the factory harness! EngineeredAdapters.com Quote:
