Replacing Spark Plug Wires
The spark plug wires are replaceable on most Kawasaki ignition coils. Most likely the coils will have to be removed from the bike to get access to the plug wire lock collar that holds the wire to the coil. The plastic lock collar can be unscrewed, I had to use pliers to get it started. After this step its easy to replace the plug wires with new ones. I'd use a little silicone grease in the coil to help with waterproofing before inserting the new wire.
It wouldn't hurt to also replace the spark plug caps while your at it to ensure that all is well. I noticed over time that my bike had trouble starting in the rain and it cranked longer before firing on any day, after replacement the bike fires up a lot quicker now.
