Okay, so where exactly are you located? I need to figure out what shipping costs may be to Calgary, Alberta, Canada T1Y6A5. I really don;t want your project not to come to completion, unless the cost will be outa this world!

Peru, Indiana. I'd hate to see how much shipping would be. There would be 2 very large boxes weighing approx 40# each.

I'm gonna talk to my shpper today and see what he thinks! I have an approximate dimension for the boxes and weight is not the issue. We bring stuff in from the US all of the time and sometimes it is not as bad as you think - just depends where it is. If it's too much I will have to bail on the idea.
thanks: Ed |

Sounds good. Let me know. I'm tired of looking at them.

Shipper got a hold of a couple of transport companies that will pick up in your area. I want to smoke what ever they are cause they are way out to lunch! $475 - $600 and then Brokerage on top of approx. $265. I'm going to have to pass, I had a magic number in my mind that I would spend and now that's way way more than I can go! Not your fault, you also got way too much invested and I hope someone close to you will pick the the project and complete it!
Thanks Ed |

I probably wouldn't spend $600 on shipping, either. No biggie. They'll get sold or they'll get cut up.

You can go onto the USPS website and they have a find your rate page there. Last spring I had a 28lb Tour Pak shipped to me from Illinois and it cost $58.00 to ship it to me here.

I don't know how small a box I could fit it all in. It would obviously be much smaller if I only shipped the good fairing. I randomly plugged in 40 pounds and a 3' cubed box. It came up with about $200. I can probably get it smaller but the smaller the box, the less packing. If you're seriously interested in the good fairing (with all the other misc crap), I'll see how small a box I could fit it in.

I have used USPS on the smaller stuff - and it's not too bad! I was trying to piggie back the boxes on other shipments we have coming from down his way - soemtimes I can get a re-route and it's around $100 and then plus weight ( which would be diddly on an orignal shipment of 2000 lbs! ) Just not happening!

Sold today (for less than what I asked) to a local guy who wants to put it on his V-Rod. I could have held out for more but I just wanted them gone. Couple grand down the tubes but now I should have enough money to finish up the batwing and get a CT. (I'm NOT trying to start another "discussion" about that.)
