2007 Nomad top box question

Does anyone know if they make a top box that mounts on the existing luggage rack? Seems crazy that somebody hasn't come up with a way to do this without needing to buy a Wompus rack or equivalent.

The stock Kawasaki luggage rack is rated at 10 lbs capacity and cannot support the weight of a trunk and its contents. Don't ask me how I know.

Won't work. The luggage rack is neither large or strong enough to support the weight of a trunk. Also, the angle of the passenger backrest to the rack would complicate fitment.

The other thing I noticed on some bikes Ive seen with trunk on stock rack is sits to high and puts trunk up in air and looks dumb to me. get a wompus rack it sits lower and makes trunk actually look like it belongs on the bike
