tfi hook ups

need some assistance guys. i received my dobeck perf. tfi today and the instructions are fairly simple. but where does the small wire with the ring on it go. is this a ground or what??????

I'm guessing to the negative battery terminal. I've installed a PC III and a Cobra, and they both had a connection to the (-) post. I don't know why yours would be different.

Yes, to the negative ground post on the battery under the seat. It's the post under the black vinyl protective cover. Make sure the bolts on both post are tight after you attach the TFI ground wire. I just installed my TFI recently too and I like it.

Hi, it goes to the negative post on the battery. Pull all the wires through the hole in the back of the tool compartment before attaching to the injectors. Start with 3-6-1-9 pot settings and adjust from there.

I just finished installing mine an hour ago. HUGE difference. Have a group ride tomorrow so I will take my little screwdriver along to fine tune but man it runs better. I disconnected the cold idle solenoids and did a marble as well. It idles so much quiter now.
