Which Fuel Processor

Cobra FI2000r....just installed not long ago after debaffle...stock air....i ran a tank of premium and dont remember any pinging...ran a tank of regular (87) and didn't get any pinging...got another tank of 87 in her and she pinging with hard throttle roll ...got a tank of 89 in her now...we see....milage ceck with the 87 octane was 40+ mpg

Actually, I was comparing previous summers to this past summer, and this past summer was even a little cooler. Now into the cooler yet fall and problem has gone away for the most part, will have to think about it over the winter. First pinging I hear on a less than hot day will have me putting one processor on order. Had been a firm believer in stock air/fuel flow until this little ditty came along.
as the engine aquires more miles there will be more carbon build up on the piston and combustion chamber surface. this will cause an increase in compression ratio.and could cause your pinging. the cobra should cure it, and increase smoothness and throttle response. bill
