Jealous, I can not afford one for a while. Yet Drool for an adventure style bike. Looking to purchase a KLR650 or Versys 650. Anything less and I can not take much of a trip. Camping gear is already geared toward back packing, and ready to use on the future bike. If I can get one I will be able to Off road to Hammock sites in Stealth mode. The Vaquero is not so good off road. HA HA

Don't get me started. Once took my 1500 classic back in the woods on a trail, to a cabin. Changed underwear twice and bottomed out on a rock.

So you own one bike for cruising, some dirt bikes for off-roading, and a rocket when you need an adrenaline rush. I own an 2005 FZ1 also.
You can spend a lot of money making the cruiser quicker, but the power to weight ratio is never going to match the Yamaha.

Yeah, the Voyager is my "get on and ride anywhere" bike. The FZ1 is just for thrills.

I'll play, I have 3 bikes!
2007 Nomad 1600 - lazy boy 2013 Honda NC700X - track machine 2016 Honda NC700X - street machine The two Hondas have the DCT auto transmission, as I am a left leg below knee amputee and also can't bend that knee past 90 degrees. So I have adapted a highway peg mounted on the frame rail for a forward foot position on the left side. Bikes are so tall and narrow, it works like a charm and has all the clearance I need. I love those Hondas, just wish they had more power...but they are fun enough for what I need. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk |
