Where can I buy Grommets?

Noticed today my grommet is missing on the side cover that houses the fuse box. Any suggestions where to buy replacements? Thanks!

Well, if it's just a regular rubber grommet...I buy them at ACE Hardware or Lowe's. There's always a Kawasaki dealer as a last resort.

I've ordered a number of OEM Nomad items from www.babbitsonline.com- a multi-brand dealer in Michigan that has an online store. You can look up the parts diagrams for various parts of your bike right online.

They're not the only website to offer the service, and if you're only needing a two dollar grommet, you'll pay more in shipping than the grommet costs. I just use them because I've found them to be quicker than going to the dealer and trying to explain to a 16-year old kid who has absolutely no idea what a Nomad is what part it is you need.

But like BigBlackNomad said, ACE hardware, etc., may be able to help you out in a pinch. Now you have a new nickname, CJ.

Any auto parts store will have rubber grommets in stock too. A too big round grommet will become ovaled in a oval hole.

A little silicon spray will help it fit, and all the rest will like some too.

My left side cover had the bottom one missing and I went back to the dealership and had them order one for me. I was surprised it only cost about a buck. I can't believe those little Japanese people left one off but obviously they did. It was too hard to get in to just fall out or anything like that.
