Jim, I am going to have to get over to Sardis and get together with you. Seems I could learn a lot from you.

Al, just where is Azle, TX? I have never looked it up to see.

Fuel Processor

I installed my Cobra FI2000R fuel processor last night. I took me about 1 1/2 hours. Very simple to do if you follow the Cobra instructions. Ran the bike today to test it out. Everything appears to be working fine. Too early to make a lot of determinations on the improvements, but the riders on the Forum are usually right and always a big help.

Hey Guys

Keep in mind to determine if the bike is California model with two vents, and the injectors are the same color and arranaged diffenently in the heads, and what year bike you are dealing with. The pictures are a great reference to go by, but can be a bit confusing when the tank is lifted and nothing looks like the picture, as in injectors being yellow instead of blue, and fuel pumps at the rear instead of the middle as in my 01 Nomad. Also the the access for running the TFI control leads from the side cover up and over and through, between the ECU and battery base box and the frame spacing is a challenge, but can be done. Also consider the mods. My first was simply a K&N with a debaf to eliminate the pinging. It does get hot here in Ga, as I am sure in La., and Miss. Would like to see so set up mapping readings from slightly modified, to maxed out posted in a file for quick reference. I think would be a great encourager for those thinking about getting the best preformance from their ride. I am like Mac, I think you are missing the optimum ride if not using the TFI because of the factory setup and limitations. I am still in the adjustment phase, but there is no comparision from before and up to now. Ride Safe.
