In the most recent Cycle World, they take their turn at a bagger shootout, with 8 bikes. Among them, HD Road King, Suzuki C109, Triumph Rocket III, and representing Kawasaki......the VN2000. The VN2K didn't fare well in their ratings. I honestly don't know why I read this drivel.

I don't subscribe to any of the motorcycle rags. I do occasionally buy Road Runner. I do enjoy most of their articles. I just might subscribe to that one.

I subscribe to 6 or 7 of them. However, I'm letting the more generic magazines expire, like Motorcyclist and Cycle World. I don't care about sport bikes, dirt bikes, motoGP, or anything like that. I'm just keeping the cruiser-oriented ones.

I recently subscribe to what I think is called Road Rider or Road Bikes - something like that.

I subscribed to Cycle World about ten years ago, and after two years of getting it I gladly dropped the subscription because it was filled with worthless drivel. I picked up an issue in Barnes & Noble about three months ago, and I wasn't surprised to see that it hadn't changed any in ten years.

I get Rider, AMA, and Ride Texas. Didn't renew all the others.

I get 1 can't remember what it is called but when it comes time to pay again forget it, it seems that all you get thees days are HD or bar bikes or crotch rockets and I don't care anything about any of them.

I use to get a couple of different bike rags mostly about the so called old school choppers, but now I only get V-Twin. They have some fine looking metric bikes featured in it.

With all that I'm learning on this forum, I doubt that I'll renew my Motorcycle Cruiser subscription.

What I wanna know is why is cycle world using the v2k to study baggers????? cycleworld used to be a good rag for AMA standings and race reports. That was the only reason I read it. Other than that it was opinionated, if I can quote cactusjack - "drivel"

I subscribe to a bunch of magazines:
Cycle World
Motorcyclist
Hot Bike Baggers
Motorcycle Cruiser
Rider
All Metric Road Bike
Motorcycle Consumer News

I will not be renewing:
Cycle World
Motorcyclist
Because they are too generic and waste a lot of print on stuff I couldn't care less about

Also I will not renew Hot Bike Baggers. They should rename it to HD Baggers, because that's all they care about.

All Metric Road Bike is pretty good, and Rider is interesting - although not specific to cruisers.

I like Motorcycle Cruiser, but they only publish 8 issues a year. What's up with that?

I like All Metric Roadbike and Cruisers, even though I wish Cruisers would publish more issues. Maybe they just don't have good enough writers. Maybe some of us here need to help them out!

I discontinued Rider because it was too generic and mostly geared toward sport touring or sport bikes. I never did subscribe to Cycle World for the exact reason you're letting it go. They have no idea how to compare like bikes.

It's not so bad though. My wife says I'm not cluttering up the "office" as much as I used to.
