Well I dropped the heavy beast
I dropped the heavy beast, hurt the better half, bruised her arm, bruised my pride. thank God for the engine guard and the rear crash bars, no real damage

Don't feel too bad............. There are 2 kinds of bikers.............. Those that have dropped their bike, and those that will drop their bike............. It happens to everyone, sooner or later.

It happens to most of us. I dropped mine with the wife on the back, she doesn't ride with me anymore. Some would say problem solved.

Drooped mine last year using the front brake as I had to use my right leg to hold the bike up when stopped because of my left hip being screwed. That's when I decided to park it until my surgery.
It's amazing how embarrassment will give you strength :-)..........Mike

Dude, I was working on setting up a phone mount and fiddling with things, and at one point was sitting absent-mindedly on her. Decided to hop off, and started to learn her over before I realized I had put the kickstand up. I was in the garage still, and it took almost getting a hernia to stand her up again. I only weigh 150lbs. :(

Well, its not if you let it embarrass you, its did you learn enough from it not to let yourself be embarrassed again.
Usually when I drop mine, I do a little jig and a dance, as a finishing move....adds some theatre to the show.... My ole ElectraGlide was all black....had the crashbars chrome sandblasted off, had them painted black....easier to touch up after dropping.... When she'd fall, I'd step off her, let her go down, then I'd pretend to kick her several times, then pull out my imaginary pistols, and proceed to put her outta my misery.... A good stress reliever! Afterwards I bow to the audience....then I'd pick her up and ride on.... Might as well have a laugh after you do it....
