Horn Identification

Ok, so if you read my introduction thread, you know that I won't get back from Afghanistan till late July to take my first ride on my new Nomad. So I had my wife takes some better pictures (she owns/runs a photography studio, so she has really nice cameras )

On this picture, it doesn't really look like the stock horn and there is a red cable running. Am I just crazy or is it a AE horn? Any ideas on mfg? Also, do all spark plug cables look braided like that? Or are those AE too?

Thanks

The horn is a Stebil air horn. Many of us on here install them as they are WAYYYYYY louder than stock.
The plug wires are stock.
Thanks for your service and reurn healthy.

TC is correct it is either a Srebel or a Wolo Bad Boy. Both are significantly louder than stock.

Have her bring the bike here and I'll ride for you until you get back.

Oh don't worry, my father-in-law is taking care of that ;)

Well the red cable is def a nogo where it is, but not too fond of the horn position. Anyone got a better spot where it's less obvious?

Where that horn is located is where most of us put them.
If you want a loud horn they are going to be big. There is not alot of places it will fit.
If you are entering your bike in a show and think the stebil is not pretty enough take it off and go with stock. ;)

Well in the case of the horn, if I have to pick between looks and safety, I'm going to side with safety. Just was hoping there was a better place to stash it. How well does it handle water? Do I have to worry about it at all?

I like to know every detail about my bike is why I'm asking all these questions. If it wasn't a mod I did, I want to know all the specifics about it. And I'm hoping the red wire showing means it got wired to a relay, but that wire will get redone when I wire up all my EMT lights

I guess my spell check didn't know what I wanted to say.
If the spell check fails me I am in trouble. I only went to the fifth grade as I had to help Ma and Pa on the farm. :(
Let me try again with different words.
mc88, get your ass back here without being hurt. :)

Yeah I know, we all want our bikes to look as good as possible.
Sometimes form has to follow function.
I was just bustin' on ya.

You got a great horn on the bike mounted in a good location, leave it alone and hopefully you won't need it too often. And get back safe!
