Just used my KQR luggage rack and mounted a DMY trunk to it. Works great. Downside can't use my Mustang seat with it.

thats the same thing I did. Why can't you use your mustang seat with it? Mine worked with no issues with my corbin seat.

BigA80, will the rack by itself fit with your mustang seat? If so, could you just get sme C-channel aluminum to mount the tourpack so it will also clear the seat?

No. The actual pieces that lock into the quick release mounts hit the Mustang passenger seat since it is so much bigger than the stock seat. I would have to cut up and weld on the nice chrome quick release brackets to make it work. To make it work and look right with the Mustang it needs to be about 3" taller and 3" back. Since I think it was about $300 I'd rather sell it and get the KQR passenger backrest with rack and take the backrest part off like Tazfl did even though that will be a few hundred more dollars. It's only money eh!

I wish they'd come to their damn senses and sell just the L brackets that mount to the KQR system. I don't want the backrest or the rack, I'd like to fab up my own rack but don't want to spend $450 for the damn back rest just to get its brackets

Cool photos....I see a "voyamad" in there, some nice cross breed setups.
