How many miles on YOUR bike

2005 - 23,000.

Geez, I thought I was doing good... looks like I need to get out more and rack up some mileage.

How many miles on YOUR bike

2006 bought new - 20,600 miles. I split riding the Nomad with my 86 and 98 Gold Wings and for a while (until it broke down again) my 72 Sportster.

No, the guy with the Green Nomad pulling a green trailer was WOMPUS.

I didn't see a side car, maybe I missed that one. I own a Red/Beige Nomad.

We missed some of the Nomad events that weekend in Elkins because we were attending two bike rallys (KawaNow & MTF).

Wow, I am ashamed. 05, bought new in November 05, and only 11,500 miles.
I think I will ride to work tomorrow!

I met Wompus there last summer and there was another fella there with a green Nomad with a sidecar as well, I don't recall meeting you there that weekend,we must have missed each other that weekend. Maybe we'll meet another time.

Geez Qdog (244k miles..amazing!) ....you are making me feel good about my 2003! I don't even have it broken in yet.

Can you tell us a few highlights about what major repairs/rebuilds you have done (if any)?

It must not only be the fastest color but the best built too!

12,600 miles here....but I put 10,000 in the last 15 months...pretty good for the wet & soggy part of the country.

2006 black with 7000 miles bought in feb this year with 1100 miles. Cant wait for next year to put on double that has been a busy summer too many wedding including my own. but sneak away alot. In love with the bike. Need to buy battery tender for car because it moves about once every 3 months even in winter. Rained here last three days while driving to work about out of elbow grease polishing it every nite! Black is fastest but at high speeds collects everything!

That's because the black Nomad is traveling so fast, it's gravitational pull exceeds the earth's, thus causing all types of matter to adhere to its surface. You'll get used to it. ::)

Actually most of the debris burns up before it touches the Nomad. The friction from the air on the flat surfaces generates tremendous heat.
