They certainly didn't want or need help when we were all younger.

Best wishes with your mom...I too have been dealing with my folks....getting them moved recently to a new assisted living home and preparing for my dads upcoming surgery to amputate his left foot below the knee (diabetes related). It sucks watching them get old, but I keep telling myself they've had a good run, although they are running out of track......
