sheepskin seatcovers attachment

For those that followed Gadget's page and made the seat covers........

How did you attach them to the bike? I was thinking of some elastic strapping that would stretch under the front and rear of the seat.

I got mine from that place in Alaska that fits the seat and that is how they secure it, works out alright.

I just have a big sheep skin thrown over the seat with the back rest going through it.

I have almost got it sewn up. Not bad to do by hand when you go with the original stitch holes. I plan to use some elastic. Can't wait till the weather gets warm enough to try them out. My wife looks at me funny and giggles while I am sewing them but I think when she sits on them in July she won't be laughing anymore.

You could really blow her mind and get kinky with the sheep skin. That should really get her to giggle.

Well I have the covers done. Took me a week of evenings to get it all sewn up by hand. I feel like a Betsy Ross or something. NOw I am sewing the elastic on. THat is actually more work because there aren't any stitch holes to follow like the edges had.
