Use highway pegs meant for the crash bars?

Try a set that are meant for the front crash bar, the offset dually's may work.

Marvellas makes a set for the 1700. Good product, reasonable price.

We have those. They look a lot nicer then in the picture. The wife never complained of any heat, but said they were comfortable. She now has her own bike. The only thing you have to look out for is when putting your feet down when stopping. You just have to remember they're there or you get a little rude awakening as they hit the back of your calves.

I may have my old brackets for pegs out in the garage. Can't remember if I sent them to another member or not...sucks getting older. If I find them and you want them, let me know. You'd just have to put pegs on them cause I gave the pegs to another member for his bike.

Maybe something that mounts to the front/bottom of her floorboard...to get her feet out away from the bike. I have seen several versions, much cheaper than the below...but this is the only one I can find right now.

No, it is an additional bracket that goes on your bike to fit footpegs to.

What kind of shoes or boots is she wearing? Maybe she needs something vented with cloth or mesh on the sides that will allow air to pass through. Is she wearing solid leather boots? Much easier and cheaper than modifying the ride if so.
