brand new owner
Hey there! Welcome. This is a great group of ...... um... people.
My 2 cents, I am on my third Vulcan and i can attest that they are sometimes very noisy. Especially in the top end. If you search the blessed tech archives on the main VROC site, I think you will find all sorts of attempts at resolution. The one that most prefer is Baggers with the Baffles out. ;) Seriously. the dealers are the worst about saying aint nuttin wrong wit it. You should find someone in your area who has experience with these bikes and have them take a listen. Better yet, come to Eureka Springs for the World VROC reunion and you can listen to a whole bunch of em. With your warranty in place, I would ride it keeping an eye on the oil as mentioned before. They are a dependable bike and can make some really strange noises. Check the main site and you will see some actual descriptions. Take care and I hope it really is ok.
