The Inept Master

So Pres. Obama is portrayed by the media as being a masterful politician who amazes all with his prowess. (well they are amazed anyway)

This has to be one example of his mastery of politics.

Today he said "I will not rest until every American who wants a job has a job." Shortly thereafter the White House announced that he is joining his family on Martha's Vinyard for a 10 day vacation.

What genius.

Seems like going on vacation always solves the many problems we have. Heck there were a lot of jobs created in July. Don't recall the number. McDonald's and Wal-Mart must have been hiring a lot last month.

He cant do any more damage, he gets a lifetime retirement, old lady will probably pull another Hillary........ so his popularity is sort of irrelevant at this point of the game.

... and while Boehner repeated hundreds of times during the elections asking "where are the jobs" he has yet to do anything to create any. Last spotting of him was on the links in Toledo

Bingo!! Millions of businesses are sitting on the sidelines because of insecurity about new regs and taxes. This is the most job killing regime I've ever seen.

Who controls the Senate? Seems like your roadblock rests with the Senate... and then the Presidency.

It would be my guess that as soon as confidence has been restored to people and businesses that you would begin to see progress on the unemployment front.

Presently, few are wanting to make any moves to spend or hire and you cannot blame them. The view of the path ahead is not favorable for anyone to hire or make capital-expenditures. No one knows when any of the regulations or taxation will change... possibly causing any hiring or "build-out" to be losing proposition.

Bingo Dougster... approximately about 48% of them in the U.S. at present that do not pay taxes. Some will likely lose their place in the "gravy-train" line where free money is handed-out.

That will possibly the problem in the next election. All of those people are not going to want to vote for someone that may potentially take their checks away (and I am not talking about S.S. checks, people already receiving them are not going to lose them).
