New Backrest
This site has never let me down yet. I have ordered my new Grasshopper driver's backrest. Should arrive any day. Getting ready for some spring trips. Boy I could sure use one right now. Two daughters divorced, deadbeat husbands not paying child support and third daughter just got laid off while still in school. Dad is tapped out but really wanted that Grasshopper.

I think you will like it. I especially like the ability to take it off if you have something soft to lean against on top of the pillion.

Not only is the grasshopper a good backrest for the money, but I had one about a year on my Suzukie C50t and the bracket that attaches to the rear fender broke..I emailed the company and asked if I could buy a new one adn how much and the next thing I knew I had a knew bracket delivered free of charge...
Now that's customer service.

Good choice on the Grasshopper. I think they're a great investment. Once you have a backrest, it makes you wonder why you didn't get one sooner!

I love mine as well. I used it to travel from OK to OH and back. I loved it every mile of the way. This year I plan to do OK to SC and back.

The more I ride with my grasshopper seat back the more I like it. I think you will too. If you want to see what mine looks like on the bike take a look at Making it mine on page two or three. My next project will be the passenger backrest.

Got the Grasshopper backrest and put it on this morning. Went for 150 mile ride this morning and I think I am in love. Took the back ache right out of the right. It was a great suggestion and nice addition. Thanks all.

I feel your pain, I don't have a Grasshopper....... I have two daughters both have been divorced. One now married to a guy with a son that he has custody of. The kids mother is a deadbeat Mom, and they have a boy of their own. The other girl has two kids with her ex who gives the kids no support at all. She also has a kid with another guy who treats her like crap but tosses her a few bucks from time to time. If it will ease the pain in my wallet I too could use a Grasshopper and a road trip with Deb on the back. Come on SPRING TIME!

Hey Wheelie, misery loves company and I think that in today's economy and with the questionable morales and ethics of some of the kids these days (not all) it's only going to get worst. Being a parent never ends. Being a good parent is priceless. Same goes for grandparenting. Hang in there, soon or later the good lord will give us a call and hopefully we will get that long needed rest.
