Hi Bob,

I'm using a machined back plate attched directly to the throttle body and the stock cover mates to the filter.

Would it be similarly safe to run your new intake on a Classic LT with stock shot-gun pipes and no fuel processor? I find the stock pipes plenty loud and unfortunately, the Classics do not seem to respond well to fuel processors.

Thanks in advance!
Chuckster,

My questions probably got lost in the shuffle. Would you care to comment?

Thanks in advance!

I will say get the fuel management controller whether a PC 5 or a TFI unit from Dobec. I myself ran mine on the Nomad for almost 2 seasons before purchasing a fuel processor. These do give you the most added HP

I was hoping to see some reviews posted by Chuckster's first customers.
Some of you must have received and installed your kits by now!

Before I see if the Chuckster is willing to ship a kit north of the border, I'd like to see some impartial reviews, especially by Classic/Classic LT owners or anyone who has left the exhaust stock.

Some installed pictures or pictures taken during the installation process would be appreciated as well. I'd specifically like to see what the left side looks like without the stock air cover. If I can remove the left cover before any signs of wear to the graphic badge, it will provide me with a spare when the right side starts to deteriorate ;)

Thanks in advance!

I don't have a 1700 and have never seen this particular kit but for those that are relatively new here, Joe (Chuckster) has probably made/sold hundreds, if not thousands of intakes for the 1500/1600s. I haven't heard a complaint yet. I personally have one of his dual plate intakes on my '07 Nomad and can say it's awesome. You just can't lose with his stuff.
