Throttle mod info
Racnray (Ray from Cycle Race Tek) It took the slack and delay out of my grip, fixing that chopping of the throttle at low rpms and speeds, and letting the throttle open quicker at speed...

There is a picture, but if you see it you have to be put to death.
When you have the mod done you have to sign a declaration of secrecy. Anyone breaking this pledge is also subject to the death penalty.

Just curious, what did this throttle modification cost, and are you satisfied with the results?

1st the avon mt air cushion grips are great. Firmer than Kuryakyn iso's with little ribbed rubber inserts...they are just a little thicker than the stock grip, and that is where kuryakyn has the edge. They feel great without gloves... I received the grips 100% put together, and only had to remove the oem grips, and replace with the new ones. The mod works well, I don't have (easier to control) that chopping when rolling on or off the throttle anymore. hope that helps...oh i think i paid $50 for the mod and about the same for the grips, somewhere in the $100 +/- $15 honestly I don't remember ...shipped to my door, I might have had $130 in it, but they had to do some extra machining to get the grips ready... The mod doesn't just tighten the slack out of the cables, but increases the ratio of throttle response to grip movement...makes it a quick turn...

on the "other" kawi forum. a guy screen name racynray does a throttle mod to help with "dead" spot. i think its like $60 bucks. well worth it because it takes slack out of the cable and makes it spot on. it kinda does away with the ride by wire feeling.

That seems kinda screwed up. If you want to "talk" on whatever other forum there is, "talk" there. No need to bring it here. BTW, I have a second job. It's not a bad job but not as good as my first job. Hey! I can be secretive, too.

Wishing the best for your Brother there and am sure we all are.
Any of you seen and used this Air Filter Kit for your Vaquero, looks nice, though I really like my Tornado Air Kit, just thought some of you may like to look at this one. http://www.revolutionspeedstore.com/...kit-black.html
