run, brake turn signal kit

I recieved my kit from Electrical Connection today. The parts are good quality, but if you're not mechanically inclined you might want to look for a plug and ride version.

I did solder mine vs. using the blade/tap connectors that came with the kit....and used shrink tube to make weather resistant.

oldbiker. the most difficult thing, I think, about that kit is pull those wires through the fixtures.

Besides painting the lenses, what do you do for the red lense covers?

Nothing. The led lights are in a ring. Half glow red at reduced power for running lights and at full power for brake lights. The other half glow amber for turn signals.

Thanks for explaining that AG. I think that's my next "expense."

Saw these in J&P's newest metric cruiser catalog. They have a new part number for 03-08 Vulcan 1600.

YOU CAN GET CLEAR LENSES AT CRUISER CUSTOMIZING FOR ABOUT $15.00 A PAIR. CAN OF TRANSPARTEN HOBBY PAIN AT WALLY WORLD FOR 3.00 OR LESS. PAIN THE INSIDE ONLY. THATS WHAT I DID, AND THEY ARE SWEET. REAL NICE LOOK AND ADD ON TOO.
