Cam shaft

Had a 2011 Voyager. Trades with 28000 miles. Now have a 2013 Voyager and just rolled 2300 miles. There usually is a "Clacking" noise when the bikes are new but then they have a tendency to go away. This happened with both bikes. However, the 2013 began to have that noise come back as I approached the current mileage. It go louder and louder. I took it into the dealer and they opened the front right cylinder. The cam shaft had an issue and they have to replace it.....Anyone else ever encounter this?

Ive never heard of any cam problems with the Vulcan motors before. You must have had one of the scarcer problems with these engines.

First I've heard of it. Kawasaki's are usually very reliable.
