Is it the clutch spring.
2003 Nomad FI with 25,000 miles.
When I accelerate hard from any gear, there is a time that the engine revs, but accelleration doesn't happen. It soudns like the clutch is slipping. Some have told me that this is part of the 1500 Nomad. I have also read that the clutch springs are not so good on the 1500 Nomad. Gadget recommends replacing with the meanstreak clutch spring.
