Front Fender Tip

I am starting to get a couple of chips in the paint on my front fender from rocks and whatnot thrown up from cars and trucks on the expressway. I have seen the ones that act like little guard rails around the front fender tip, but I would like something that actually fully covers the paint, does anyone know of something like this, and where I can get one?

Thanks,

Brian

National Cycle parts I think makes chrome heavy tips for the front and rear of the front fender and the rear of the rear fender, that screw on. These will cover and protect the leading edges of paint.

Yeah Mac couldn't drop the bike if he wanted to. The tire was probably wedged under the bumper of the Jeep. You know, kinda like parking your bycicle in those racks at school ;)

Brian....this is the National Cycle front fender tip. Is this the type you were looking for?

I added the black pin stripping tape to cover additional rock dings along with the three under the fender tip.
This has been discussed in a couple recent threads.
Might want to do a search...

Mac, it wasn't that I didn't ever have the money, just didn't know if I wanted to spend it on the TFI or not. It isn't so much wanting to spend money on "bling" as it is wanting to protect my paint job, something that I have already invested in.

The national cycle part looks good, but knowing National Cycle they are probably really expensive. I'll have to do some searching.

Mac, I'd send you a screw to attach your stuffed MOOSE to the fender, but I wouldn't want you to be without the cuddly little guy at bed time!

I wasn't sayin you don't have money like I don't have money, but at first getting you to spend any on the right stuff was hard to do, like fish net stockings, red high heels, and frilly bra and panty set to match...

Ifn' ya wanna screw my moose yer gonna have to come here in person. Thar's only so much i am willing to do by Proxy

Brian, I don't know if you can get the same deal but I bought all 3 chrome pieces from Scootworks in Zebulon NC last Christmas. I bought the 3 chrome fender tips (front and rear edge of front fender and rear edge of rear fender) and a tank bib. It was $200 plus tax. $165 for the 3 fender tips and $35 for the bib. They'll deal a little sometimes if you call and talk to them and if you are spending enough.
