New Vaquero color changes
By now everyone has seen the new 2012 color changes. What do you guys think of the new Vaquero green and black colors? Yah or nay?

Without trying to sway anyone's opinion, here are my thoughts: I appreciate Kawi giving their cruiser a unique paint job, but I think they tried too hard to imitate the Roaring Toyz custom Vaquero, and missed it by a long shot.
What is the line separating the green from black supposed to be?...stone, desert camo? Looking at it from a perfect side profile view, you notice that the line separating the colors isn't straight all the way through the bike, from fairing to bags. It's straight on each piece but at a different angle on each piece, which tends to not flow well imo. I love the idea of a green and black, but not like this.

They should never let that get out in public. The cheezy vulcan decal looks just as bad.

...because not everyone wants a black bike. I agree about the decal, it should be a badge instead.

I don't think the separation lines are supposed to be rounded. The fairing starts off with angles and the rear ends with roundness. I personally like this bike in red as the best color but I do like the green and black. I do not like the blue.

While I certainly understand that this is topic highly subjective, I will say this: I appreciate the effort, but I think they came up a little short. I would prefer a darker green, and from the front, if it wasn't for the radiator shroud, you would never know it was a two tone paint scheme. They should have carried two colors on top/front of the fairing. I'm sure some will love it, but me? Not so much.

I like the color and idea, but not the execution. Should have something on the front fender, and also the bags not just the doors. It seems they tried but ran out of real creativity(meaning $) to tie it all together.

Would have looked great in a red/black with something gold leaf striping separators. That green, while eye catching, is too "over the top" for me.

Looks like they copied the color from Nightmare's bike. I wonder if it is as fast as his??

Never cared for the Vaquero look, no matter what the color.

Still don't like the color and still DIGGIN' the rear fender. And still want to know if it could be retrofitted to an earlier Nomad. :)

FYI the painted fillers between the bags and fenders are very flimsy plastic.
