V&H Dual Baggers Clip

On our recent bike trip, I HONESTLY learned to LOVE these V&H dual baggers that hubby has on the Nomad. We rode with two other Harley friends with the LOUD, LOUD, LOUD pipes on their bikes!!!! I just didn't like the sound next to hubby's pipes.

While sitting at Skyline Drive waiting for hubby to check on some lost keys at the office, I found myself digging the sound of them while idling and decided to turn on the video to record!!! ;)

Finally, somebody who posted something I can hear. THANK YOU.

I like the sound, but like others, I think it might annoy me on a 200+ mile trip. They sounds great to me for short distance cruising, but might be a little too much for me after any significant length of time.

I have heard that the Cobra's are not quite as loud at idle and cruising speed, but sound great when you roll on the throttle, that is more of what I am looking for.

Greatly appreciate the post, and they do sound awesome!

You're welcome! I totally understand what you are looking for. Everybody likes a different sound Believe me, after spending 6 days with the SUPER LOUD pipes on our friends bikes, hubby's pipes didn't sound that loud to me anymore!!! ;)

I had posted this back when he first installed them, but here's a short "drive by" of his pipes!!!

I just got my pipes in I bought here on the forum. I am looking forward to getting this installed, too bad it is so late tonight.

The baggers actually are very quiet when cruising.Mine are just loud enough to hear while running at 65+.

Thank you....I really wanted to say that, but decided not to..."loud" can be different to different people. I ride behind him all the time and his pipes don't bother me.

V&H Dual Baggers Clip

My wife likes real loud pipes so I debaffled my vance and hines baggers for a couple of months, after we went on real long rides I wwould feel just exhausted and numb at the same time anyway I decided to slip the baffles back in and my next ride all I could think about was how much more relaxing it was not to have that loud thumping all day. The baggers are great with the baffles in and maybe I am just getting old but I jsut cant do the real loud pipes no more.

Thanks!
I sure do wish I had the $400 for you!!! I would give it to you in a minute, since they do add so much to a Nomad!!!
