As many of you know, KawaNOW holds a photo contest every July of each year. This year will be the 3rd annual.

Here are the instructions and rules:

- Only KawaNOW members (must have a member number issued) that own and operate a Nomad or Vaquero can participate. The KawaNOW President and KawaNOW staff are not eligible.
- If you were a Nomad owner anytime during the past year and are now an Enthusiast, you are qualified to enter.
- Everyone can either submit a new picture or use the picture that is already posted on the members page of the website.
- Pictures must be of the member and their Nomad/Vaquero. (No pics of just the Nomad/Vaquero without owner/operator will be considered).
- Last year's 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are not eligible. However, "Honorable Mention" winners are eligible.
- Pictures must be unique (taken at a unique location or with a unique background). A background can be colored in or keyed in if desired. Pics can be taken while riding or standing still.
- All pictures will be considered from the member library of pictures. If you want to change your picture or add a picture, feel free to email attach a copy to Trip at robert@hilliard.ws- You will have the whole month of July to send your pictures to Trip. When sending by email, please include your name, login name and KawaNOW membership number in the email.
- Contest ends August 1st, 2011. At that time, Trip will consider all qualifyable pictures in the member library. 10 finalists will be determined. These 10 finalists will be given to the KawaNOW staff and voted on for the winner.
- Here are the winner classes:
1st Place
2nd Place
3rd Place
Honorable Mention
Honorable Mention

The winners will be announced sometime in August and will be posted on the KawaNOW website.

@ Trip- When you say, "Last year's winners are not eligible." are you referring to last years pictures are not eligible or the person who submitted the picture is not eligible?

What if it is a different bike in the picture?

It sucks that I'm not eligible this year....(second place last year)....because I have THE WINNER this year (see my new sig pic)....

. Oh well.....best of luck to all of those KawaNOW members who enter. I know the judging will be tough, but if you need a tie breaking vote Trip.....I'm here for you.... ;)!

What if it is a different bike in the picture?

The person that owns and rides the bike (which should be the person in the pic) is not eligible. Even if they get another motorcycle.

But, I'll go ahead and make an executive decision and say that the two Honorable Mention's from the previous year are eligible. Just the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners are not eligible.
