Rear floorboards 1500,1600 same??

I am making brackets to raise and tilt back the passenger floorboards I have some made for the 1600 and would like to make some for the 1500 as I dont have a 1500 to try them on I was wondering if anyone new if the bolt spacing was the same.

Rear floorboards 1500,1600 same??

I can't help you, since I've only owned a 1600, but one quick and easy way to tell might be to go to one of the online parts houses and check the part numbers for the 1500 and 1600 and see if they match.

Spirello, I went to the Kawi web site and checked the part numbers. They are different, and they look completely different, BUT, the stays are mounted to the frame with 2 bolts (just like the 1600) so maybe.........maybe not . You'll just have to get a hold of a 1500 to make sure, or get someone to measure the bolt pattern for you. Sorry I couldn't be of any help. :'(
