Ultimate Baffles

I received my Ultimate Baffles from Chuckster today. Just put them in and took her for a test ride. They are a little loud, not obnoxious IMO, at idle and when accelerating hard. Fully expected that. But at cruising speeds, they aren't bad at all. The fit and machine work was perfect, with just enough slack like the V & H baffles, and the retaining holes were spot on. Great work Joe!

They are a bit louder, but I really liked the sound they make. Ive heard them on two bikes so far, and don't find them obnoxious at all.

Well I made a set for Mitch as he was looking for them.

I can make another set if someone wants them, they will be on a order basis only.

Cheers

Glad to hear you've added them to your catalog Joe. I was happy to get some made last fall, but my source dried up. Got plenty of inquiries, so I'm happy to see others will get to enjoy the real rumble our Nomads can make!

I love the set I had made locally. I was hoping the shop here would be able to make them at a competitve price, but it just didn't work out. I'm glad you jumped in and started making these, Joe.

I don't see them on your site, Joe. What are you charging for them?

How is this different from the regular V & H baffles? What is the change on the bike's performance or sound?
Thx

I put my V&H baffles back in to find the difference. The insulating wrap is off my V&H baffles and it sounded too much like a "pop-pop-pop" sound. With the UB's the sound is deeper and louder, no noticeable change in performance, just makes the bike sound bigger, meaner, real....

No noticeable performance difference. Deeper rumble and considerably louder at idle and when accellerating. Once highway cruising speed is reached, not much louder than the stock V & H baffles. This is my wife's opinion who is sitting right above em.
