No, its when it rains so hard that you cant see the road and you have to abandon the ride that is a wash!!......your bike gets a drink of water too when it rains that hard.

I go to the car wash. Presoak wash and rinse. $7 and out the door . Wand wash that is

I use RainX aerosol glass cleaner on the windshield, lights, and all painted surfaces. It's the best for getting off bugs and gunk!

I used to use the Mr Clean car wash kit, but the jerks discontinued it so I occasionally pop into a car wash and spray it down from enough distance that it doesn't hurt the old girl.

Warm water and 2 microfiber towels like someone mentioned above. For touch ups, Turtle Wax has a spray on cleaner/wax that works really well.
Hand wax twice a year or so...

Tim, I did the leaf blower a couple of times and neighbors thought I was crazy! It got her nice and dry though, no spots.
