Regarding Judges Washers and Meanstreak Spring

I just had my Clutch slip under hard acceleration -- seeing as I had just picked up my newly purchased Nomad from the Dealer and this was my first ride I took it back complaining It cannot have passed a Safety check as I cannot pass anyone without clutch slipping.

The dealer took it right in and installed the Meanstreak Spring keeping original plates. Yes the Nomad responds much better and really feels connected and no slippage full throttle 5th gear at 60Mph.

My question since the Judges Washers are not installed with this new Spring am I domed to another failure in the next 39,000 Miles or are they (Judges Washers) needed on this last model year 2008 of the 1600 Nomad.

I gotta know as I would like to avoid taking her apart again to install these Judges Washers as I have them on order for some time now but they are very slow to arrive.

Northern Dancer,

Thanks,

Ron
