Hiway Bars

Need some suggestion on aftermarket bars. I'm looking for some that are closer to the rider and don't interfere with the brake/shifter levers & pedals. The OEM's are at a right angle to the frame, I'm looking for something with more of a bend toward the rider.

Why? I can't seem to think of a reason you'd need your highway bar closer to you?

Netnorske has a method for bending back the stock bars but I wouldn't recommend it. It involves a parking lot and a car.

I don't understand. Hi way bars are for feet and are a bad across the frame. We use pegs mounted on the crash bar, engine guard.
Kury makes off sets for pegs to bring them in closer, and the off set can make a lot of different angles.

If this is what we are tawkin' about, then get that type with the off sets. I set mine to toe the pegs even with the brake and I can ride heels on the boards and tow the pegs so when braking I slip my toes over to the brake. Or i can hook my heels on the pegs, or i can set my ankels on the pegs and lay dwn for a nap.

That was what he was talking about Mac. I think the others thought he was talking about the crash bars. He did say highway bars and I knew exactly what he was talking about. He is probably like me with a shorter inseam and would need them to be closer to him. If I add the highway pegs or bars I will be looking to have them come back closer so my feet will reach them.
