audio question
Just bought a 2010 Voyager. Not at all familiar with the sound system. I do have the original owner's manual, but it leaves a few questions. I am a bit hearing impaired, (I wear hearing aids when not riding and I hear great). I can't wear the aids on my bike because of the wind noise. I have used helment speakers and a MP3 player in the past with great success on other bikes. Is there any way, anything I can add to make this stereo system broadcast Bluetooth to helment speakers? I am not an electrical engineer, but surely there has to be a way? What about the COMM feature? Is there any way through this? Thanks to anyone who has any info.

I tried doing this with earbuds without any success. I purchased the communication cable output that plugs in under the seat and then purchased an adapter that would allow me to plug in the earbuds. I could not get it to work no matter what I did.
Maybe the bluetooth is the way to go on this. Hopefully others will have some good ideas for you.

The bluetooth will only receive signal and pump it through the speakers not the reverse to play music from the radio and transmit to earbuds. I would add an amp to the system and crank the tunes

I too am looking into transmitting blue tooth to my helmet. I purchased a "ihaus4u" wireless adapter that will transmit and receive. I think it was 17 bucks on amazon. Looking into plugging it into the rear speakers under the seat. This way I will not have to remove the fairing, and I can adjust the front to back from the handlebars. it is usb powered , with a battery, and there are 2 barrel power outlets there also under the seat. I use a Sena s10 in my helmets. With my knowledge, I realize there are most likely better ways. but I'm going to try it.

The comm system works great with the radio. If you buy it from Kawasaki I'd look at JM audio for a headset.

The stock deck is crap to begin with IMO. You are better off changing to an aftermarket marine deck with bluetooth IMO. You will lose handle bar controls but can wire in a module to regain again. Look for PAC unit thread I created. Sounds like you will need someone to install for you.

Done, My Sena s10 has Bluetooth on the rear speakers. The blue/white on the white plug is your left speaker and the blue/ red on the black plug is your right speaker. I used Flat blade connectors and shaved them down to use as male plugs into the speaker plugs. Wired them into a female 3.5mm jack. Totally removable and I did not alter the stock wires or plugs. Sound Quality varied from helmet to helmet. The older version speaker set was total crap for sound. The newer one was better after I adjusted the treble and bass. Fade on the bars controls the front to back on the system and the volume. All stashed under the seat in the tool compartment.
