Joel,... I'm pretty sure Brian "midge" Midgley will be coming with me too. Yes he's a member. He was there at Custer in '09. There might be one more too but not sure yet, so just add "midge" thanks.

Changes are being made for my trip to Orofino.
It looks like "midge" won't be able to take the month off like he thought, and quite frankly I have a lot I want to get done around the property before next fall/winter.
So Brian/"midge" is going to stick to his orig. plan of going to Monument Valley with his son {and his sons friends} and then heading back to work.
I expect to stay with my orig. plan and hook up with Mike/"lomax" and his son and make my way down with them.
Mike if you read this lets email some plans on how and when we want to go.

Cool...I thought maybe you weren't gonna make it or something crazy like that....

. I am still hoping that you can work it out so Tricia and I can hook up with you guys for the run to Orofino, but I know Mike said he may be a day behind us. If you guys leave Mike's place on Saturday, you could easily make Post Falls or Coeur d'Alene, ID. Tricia and I could meet you guys someplace around there for the run to Orofino on Sunday (I gotta be there by Sunday). Taking the scenic route, it's only 3.5 hours to Orofino from there, and check in at the hotel is probably not until 3 or 4 pm, so we could get a casual start after a nice lunch someplace. Anyways, you guys have to come right thru there, but it may not be until Monday when you do. Keep it in mind as you guys make your plans....it's all good either way. If we don't catch you along the way....we'll see you in Orofino....

Wondering if anyone on the west side of the cascades is heading to Orofino and wants to group up.. Leaving sunday for leisure ride there. may chill some where sunday night and ride into Orofino on Monday. no hurry here, want to take in the scenery along the way. starting to plan route now

Orofino is an easy one day ride from your place if you get an early start. We'll be at the hotel Sunday afternoon so we could hang out if you get there Sunday. Steve Bishop I think will be leading a run over, but I'm not sure which day he is leaving...Saturday or Sunday. Do you have his contact info? If not, give me a call or email and I'll hook you up....
