2017 Canada West Ride - Chewelah, WA - Aug 10-12

Mark your calendars everyone! Dates & location have all been set for the 2017 edition of the VBA Canada West Ride. We’ll be experiencing some of the finest riding that is available in the NE Washington area.
Dates: August 10, 11 & 12, 2017

Location: The Nordlig Inn Motel www.nordlig.com

Paul and Andi at the Nordlig have all 14 of their rooms blocked for us until July 1st. Call them at (509)-935-6704 to book your room(s).

They are offering us their AAA rates which are starting at $55 per night for a single and up to $70 for 2 queens.

When booking your room(s) let them know that you are with the VBA group. Otherwise you'll be told that they are fully booked for that weekend

Here’s a tentative schedule, and more details will follow as I get them sorted out:
Thursday August 10th – Arrivals
Friday August 11th – Group ride and meet up with late arrivals at the Nordlig
Saturday August 12th – Group ride followed by a wind up dinner
Sunday August 13th – Say our Goodbyes and depart for home

One of the group rides may be up to Republic where I'm told there is an excellent brewery & pub! Another great ride in the area is the Flowery Road Trail.

Again, more details to follow but the main thing for now is the dates so that those of you who need to book vacation time can get that done.

I’m looking forward to a fun weekend and meeting up with my VBA friends from across Western Canada and the Northwest USA!

Paul and Andi at the Nordlig have asked anyone who has sent an e-mail request to please give them a call to confirm your reservations. They no longer take reservations via e-mail for various reasons but are replying to e-mails and asking guests to confirm by phone call.

Sorry to hear that John.

With next year being an alternate year (no National Rally) perhaps I and whoever takes on the North West Region Leader position can coordinate a joint rally this side of the 49th Parallel.
