same....but usually its labeled inner or outter. Theres a few mfg'ers that are making them cheaper, but also giving you a warranty with them. And they're making them to fit both.....interchangable.
2/3rds of loosing your alts are dirty/corr. terms that cause you to burn the wires up (resistance), or a short in your regs.....or both..... With the twin alts on a Nomad, if they malfunction and over current, they can fry your battery, too!

The only difference is the length of the wiring attached.
