Mustang Wide Touring vs. Stock Seat

There was a lot of discussions lately on Facebook and some other motorcycle forums about the Mustang seat and how it compares to the stock seat on Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic. I decided to make this video to show in details how they differ, one from another. In this video I compare Mustang Wide Touring Seat with the original stock one that came with the 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic SE.

I watched your video on the seat. I have 800vulcan class and a 1500 cc. I dont like any of the modern seats. I had a 1954 HD with the spring seat. Nothing compares to them. Plan on buying one a fitting it to my 1500. Seats nowdays are crap.

I didn't watch the video as my mind is made up on Mustang seats.
I don't like them.
I put one on my 650 Yamaha and it was terrible. 100 mile trip and I could hardly walk.
I put on on my 2007 Nomad because I thought maybe the Yamaha was a fluke. Nope, they still suck as far as I am concerned.

Mustang seat works better for me than stock seat. There might be better seats out there. I just wanted to show how they compare: design, size, form, look and craftsmanship. I hope it will give some ideas to those guys who think about buying a new seat. I know that a lot of folks really like them.

I've been a fan of Mustang since I bought one for my 1500 Classic, that bike had a terrible stock seat. My 1600 Nomad came with one & I was quite happy with it. So far I'm okay with the stock seat on my 1700 Nomad but if Mustang made a 2 piece seat for it, I'm sure I would be eyeing it.

I have been riding on Mustang seats for the past 15 years, and my wife has had them on her last 2 bikes as well. Work much better than the stock seats for me.
