Thunder in the Mountains Rally - Blairsville, GA

If you are in or around N GA April 4-7, plan to come to the first annual "Thunder in the Mountains" rally to be held at the Copperhead Lodge in Blairsville, GA. This event is being jointly sponsored by the Copperhead Lodge and The Biker Barn and will feature a vendor village, bike game & competitions and live music.

There will be a variety of mountain motorcycling activities on The Gauntlet, a 133 mile challenging and scenic route for motorcycle and car enthusiasts visiting North Georgia. Over the last two years, thousands have accepted the challenge of The Gauntlet and ridden “133 miles of smiles”.

Copperhead Lodge, 171 Copperhead Parkway, Blairsville, GA is a destination resort offering lodging, casual fine dining, full service bar, cabins, and other amenities on the forty acre resort. Lodging reservations are available at website: www.copperheadlodge.com or by calling 706-835-7433.

The Biker Barn, Located at the junction of Highway 325 and Highway 129 North, Blairsville, GA is a hot spot for enthusiasts to stop while visiting the North Georgia Mountains. They offer motorcycle gear, accessories, apparel and trailers. Riders who’ve taken the challenge can “sign” The Gauntlet wall during their visit, or buy patches & t-shirts to signify their visit. I'd be there but I need some overtime to get to do things like this. The bummer is that work falls on the best Rallys.
