One of 2 routes.

First route will take me to Cody, WY then over Beartooth Pass to Red Lodge then head north to the interstate.

Second would be similar except I would head to Red Lodge then Beartooth Pass and take the highway into Yellowstone and then north to Livingston and then the interstate.

Did you want to hook up with landman and I and ride over from here? They have a brand new Holiday Inn Express here just off the Belgrade Exit if you wanted to stay here Sun night.

The plan was to stay in Belgrade. I have points for Choice hotels so probably stay there. One of the benefits of being on the road so much. I'll get in touch with Bob here sometime to see his plans.

I will be staying in Belgrade sunday night but haven't reserved a room anywhere yet.let me know where you are staying joel. most likely I will just make the run up the interstate
on sunday which is just about 500 miles from here.

Quality is just South of the interstate about a 1/4 mile on the west side of the road. Used to be the old Holiday Inn Express. Good Mexican restaurant right next door.

I would have had offered elk steak, but I haven't had any luck the last few years. That damn work thing keeps getting in the way of my hunting time. I do have some two year old antelope still in the freezer if interested.

Where did/do you go for the elk when you have the time to hunt Dave.
I'm up north in the Cariboo Dist. of BC and I hear they are reintroducing elk to my area, from Alberta.
